||

The Norwegian surgeon working in Denmark, Prof. I. Rygg, and
his engineer friend, Eric Kyvsgaard, collaborated in producing a safe,
ready to use oxygenator for open heart surgery.
Thus began the manufacturing of the product line of POLYSTAN; cardiac by-pass equipment, bubble oxygenators, cardiotomy reservoirs, perfusion catheters etc. For well over a decade, they represented the gold standard in Australia for perfusion. |
